Can you please file an enhancement to unselect all SSIS packages by default? I have around a thousand packages, would be nice to opt in rather than opt 1000 packages out. Thanks! and GRRRRR ;)

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for reaching out. This is something our DEV team is currently working on. I don't have an ETA at this time but please feel free to contact support@pragmaticworks.com with any additional questions or concerns.

Here's a tutorial that we have in our help documentation:

http://help.pragmaticworks.com/LegiTest/Index.html?UsingParameters.html

Through the use of parameters, customers can easily transition between multiple environments as the testing process flows through the various stages of development and deployment.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, I have multiple SSAS cubes that i wanted to prepare regression suite against their data ware houses. Do we need to write SQL queries from data ware house to compare each measure or tool will write on its own?

Also can we compare the data in SQL database with Oracle database?

We have an SSAS Validation Testing Wizard, which will write most of the code for you. The only 'real code' that you would have to manually write is for correcting validation errors. You can learn more here: http://help.pragmaticworks.com/LegiTest/Index.html?SSASValidationTesting.html

Also, you can compare data from a SQL DB to an Oracle DB.

Please email support@pragmaticworks.com with additional questions.

Thanks!

Hi , I have a SQL query which gives source and destination data. I want to get the difference between the columns ( if any ) and also can i send out an email to users from the tool, if there's any difference in the data( as mentioned above)?

It sounds like you are looking for the Comparison Editor, which can be used with a SQL query for the source data, and another SQL query for the destination data, and compare the two using a compare grid test element. As far as sending out emails to people, that would include using our Notification Engine which is part of the LegiTest Server product and can be set up to send emails when tests are run.

Go to the “Using the Comparison Editor” video on http://www.legitest.com/resources/legitest-how-to/.

Please email support@pragmaticworks.com with further questions. Thanks!
